Mr. Banzhoff began surveying in 1972 and obtained his license as a Maryland Property Line Surveyor in 1988. Before concentrating his attentions to the greater metropolitan area, Bob worked on varied projects from transcontinental natural gas lines stretching from Virginia up the east coast into New York, to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall. He also served as Member Organizations Administrator at the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping and as Program Coordinator and adjunct instructor for the Survey Technology Program at the Community College of Baltimore County. He is a past president of the Maryland Society of Surveyors (MSS). Bob has wide and varied experience in boundary, ALTA/ACSM, construction, topo, route and subdivision surveys, title reviews, descriptions, easements, and covenants.

After 30(+) years of playing in a band or bands, Bob is now a recovering musician. (This means he doesn’t currently have a gig.) He most enjoys canoeing and fishing (freshwater only) with his lovely wife T.J. and fulfilling the dual roles of Grandfather to five (5) and Uncle Bob to an ever growing yet seemingly incalculable number of folks. On occasion he and T.J. can be found day tripping to far flung courthouses, libraries, and cemeteries in support of her genealogical research.
