Project Manager Assistant/CADD Designer

MHG is located in Montgomery Village, Maryland and provides Civil Engineering, Surveying, Landscape Architecture and Land Planning services in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia. MHG has 40 plus year history of successful projects in the private and public sectors including urban designs, streetscapes, commercial, multi-use, institutional, parks and recreation and high-end residential homes

We are seeking a mid-level Project Managers Assistant or CADD Designer with practical understanding to support our Technical Staff. The ideal candidate will have experience or education in the following areas:

  • Carlson Survey and Civil

  • Site Grading and 3D Surfaces

  • Water and Sewer Design

  • Topographic Survey Preparation

  • Computer Exhibits

  • Microsoft Project

  • Project Communications

  • Feasibility Studies

  • Field Inspections

  • Permitting

Landscape Architect/Land Planner

MHG is located in Montgomery Village, Maryland and provides Civil Engineering, Surveying, Landscape Architecture and Land Planning services in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia. MHG has over a 40 year history of successful projects in the private and public sectors including urban designs, streetscapes, commercial, multi-use, institutional, parks and recreation and high-end residential homes.

We are seeking an intermediate-level, creative, self-motivated Landscape Architect with practical understanding to join our Landscape Architecture and Land Planning Section. The ideal candidate will be licensed or on a path to licensure and have experience or education in the following areas:

 

  • Feasibility Studies

  • Forest Conservation Planning

  • Site Design and Grading

  • Urban and Streetscape Design

  • Outdoor Amenity Space Design

  • Planting Design including Stormwater Management Facilities

 

Candidates should be proficient in:

  • Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills

  • Understanding of horticulture, arboriculture, soils and planting design

  • Using the elements and principles of Landscape Design

  • Vectorworks Landmark

  • Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup and other graphic programs

  • Free-hand graphics
