The new iFLY Montgomery facility located in Gaithersburg is their second flight facility in the State of Maryland and the 37th center worldwide. This indoor skydiving experience offers body flights, youth flight schools, youth STEM programs, and military flight programs within a controlled environment.

MHG worked closely with the entire development iFLY team, the City of Gaithersburg staff, and the contractor throughout the land entitlement process, engineering design, and construction phases for this unique commercial development.

The 67 foot tall flight chamber is contained within an 8,600 square foot freestanding building on a 6 acre parcel office complex. The building and mechanical yard were constructed on a portion of a previously developed lot. MHG was tasked with the integration, site layout, stormwater management, water and sewer design, construction administration and surveying services for this project.
