Viasat is a global internet service provider, powering high-speed communications services on land, in the air and at sea.  In late 2017, Viasat contacted MHG to assist with a relocation and expansion of their Germantown office to the Black Hill community.  MHG worked with both Viasat and Lerner on the entitlement and permitting of this project, including Civil Engineering, Land Planning, Landscape Architecture and Land Surveying services.

With Black Hill being a master planned live/work/play community, MHG helped Viasat reorganize the building design so that it accomplished the master plan goals of building transparency and relationship to the public realm.  To satisfy the public amenity requirements, MHG’s Landscape Architecture designed a linear park that runs parallel to Century Boulevard and includes decorative lighting, seating, and integrated SWM planters.
