Since the inception of the firm in 1978, MHG has built a solid reputation for providing professional services to both public and private sector clients. North Summit
MHG was the land planner, civil engineer, surveyor and landscape architect for a Bozzuto Homes project known as North Summit. This 2 acre property in Gaithersburg, MD includes 4 duplexes, 36 stacked townhouses and 5 townhomes. Graphic image provided by Bozzuto Homes, Inc.
Rockville Town Square
RD Rockville's mixed use project occupies 15 acres in downtown Rockville, MD, includes 630 luxury apartments and condominium homes, 170,000 sq. ft. of retail/restaurants, 3 public parking garages and a town plaza.

MNCBIA 2011 Environmental Award

Macris, Hendricks & Glascock, P.A. was awarded the final prize in the Land Development category for the outfall restoration project designed for Watkins Mill High School in Gaithersburg. The outfall from the school’s storm drain system had severely eroded the downstream channel and caused deposition of sediment in Great Seneca Creek. A combination of small storm drain extensions and step pools were required to keep the limits of disturbance within the steep eroded channel.

Environmental Site Design

In 2009, Macris, Hendricks and Glascock, P.A. (MHG) developed this presentation to discuss the integration of the 2007 Stormwater Regulations into site developement projects using Environmental Site Design (ESD). MHG, in collaboration with the Therrien Waddell Construction Group, has since created a follow-up presentation to address real world implications of Maryland's new stormwater law.
